Jason Miller

Jason Miller is the founder of Compass Accounting LLC and brings almost a decade of experience in accounting, tax preparation, and financial planning. He loves taking a client’s complicated financial situation and turning it into something clear and manageable while finding real satisfaction in solving the puzzle of numbers, taxes, and long‑term strategy. Jason is driven by the opportunity to help families save money, strengthen their financial future, and create a positive, supportive environment for the team he works alongside.
His interest in this field began after a real estate class which completely reshaped how he understood taxes and financial planning, inspiring him to help people keep more of what they earn while paying only what’s truly fair.
Today, Jason continues to provide personalized, reliable guidance that empowers individuals and businesses to make confident, informed financial decisions.

Katie

Katie loves working with numbers and helping people make sense of their taxes. Whether she’s answering questions, finding ways for clients to get the best possible benefit, or helping someone understand something they’ve never been told before, she enjoys bringing real value to every interaction. 

One of her favorite parts of the job is hearing from her clients and the great experiences they have. Katie hopes to be a positive influence for both clients and her team. She wants people to think of Compass as a place they can trust for clear answers, complete satisfaction, and a level of service worth referring to others. 

Her interest in this field started with a simple thought—that office work seemed fun—and it quickly grew into a passion. With endless opportunities to learn and grow in this industry, she’s excited to keep expanding her skills and making a meaningful impact along the way.

Barb Bontrager

Barb loves getting to learn new things, especially when it comes to the financial side of the work. 

She enjoys growing her knowledge and understanding how everything fits together, and she finds a lot of joy in helping others succeed. She wants everyone she works with to feel like family—supported, understood, and confident that they’re in good hands. 

Her interest in this field began with her experience in bookkeeping, which she truly enjoyed, and now she’s excited to expand that foundation by learning more about taxes and the importance of preparation and planning for both individuals and businesses. 

For Barb, it’s all about learning, growing, and helping people feel confident along the way.

Sue Yoder

Sue loves helping people, and it shows in everything she does. Whether she’s digging into tax details to get clients the best results or taking the weight of bookkeeping off their shoulders, her goal is always to make life easier for the people she serves. She works hard to ensure every client feels known, valued, and supported, building trust through reliability and genuine care. What began as a search for a job closer to home quickly became one of the best decisions she’s made, and she’s grateful to be in a role where she can grow, learn, and make a meaningful difference every day.

Krissy

Krissy loves being the friendly voice on the phone and helping clients feel supported from the moment they reach out. She takes pride in assisting people to the best of her abilities and stepping in wherever she’s needed, always aiming to make things easier for both clients and her team. Krissy originally applied because she needed a job and had always hoped for an office position, and she’s grateful to now be in a role where she can grow, contribute, and make a positive impact every day.

Ervin Fry

​​Ervin enjoys working with numbers and figuring things out, but he also loves building people up and helping them feel good about themselves. He brings a positive, encouraging vibe to everything he does.

He stepped into this role because he wanted a new challenge and something totally different from what he’d done before. Now he’s enjoying the chance to grow, learn, and make a difference while doing work that keeps him thinking.

Ervin Miller

Ervin enjoys working with numbers and solving problems, which naturally drew him into the world of tax work. He likes digging into the details, figuring things out, and helping create clarity for clients. His goal is simple but meaningful—to make a positive impact on the people he works with, whether that’s through accurate work, helpful answers, or a steady, reliable presence on the team.
His interest in this field started with a desire to learn more about taxes and gain hands‑on experience. What began as curiosity has grown into a genuine appreciation for the work and the opportunities it brings. Ervin is excited to continue building his skills and contributing in ways that support both clients and his team.
